The spectrum of sculptural work of Krištof Kintera is quite wide. It includes smaller sculptural objects as well as monumental sculptural compositions for galleries or public spaces. Kinter's starting material for construction is often various consumer products and electrotechnical components, e.g. plastic balls, beverage cans, chandeliers, washing machines, bicycles, used battery monocells or printed circuit boards. In some cases, Kintera reconnects these elements to the electrical network (e.g. the figure My Light Is Your Life – Shiva Samurai, 2009, made of lamps and light fixtures), uses their mechanical properties (e.g. washing machine drums in the installation We All Want to be Cleaned, 2017) or supplements them with movement or sound elements. In the 1990s, he also had the opportunity to organize solo exhibitions in important foreign institutions such as Museum Tinguely in Basel (2014), Kunstal Rotterdam (2015) and Kunstalle Bratislava (2016).
